Our Programme; “BUILDING PEACE THROUGH TRADING” is seeking to provide Micro and Small Enterprises in Kenya an opportunity to rise from the ashes and contribute to the economic recovery of our country.

Peace is paramount to thriving businesses; it is the one proven way to ensure free passage of goods and people. The post election violence and skirmishes recently experienced in many parts of Kenya have threatened the peaceful co-existence enjoyed in Kenya for many decades hence impacting negatively on businesses. As a renown Enterprise Development Agency, Kenya Gatsby Trust believes that trade has the potential to act on the moral world drawing people together, thrusting aside the antagonism of race, ethnicity, creed, and language while working towards a peaceful co-existence that will protect their income gearing activities

The Trust is spearheading the Enterprise Recovery Programme to contribute to the healing process of the nation. This will supplement humanitarian support currently being provided by various agencies, by providing the hundreds of affected Kenyans an opportunity to restore their dignity through income generation.
