KGT’s Vision:
Our vision is a just and equitable society where citizens engage in sustainable economic activities in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
KGT’s Mission
KGT facilitates participatory market support solutions for MSEs, in partnership with other stakeholders, for poverty eradication and wealth creation.
Target Group
KGT works with and through organisations having strong backward linkages to producers and MSEs, while encouraging gender and youth mainstreaming for Wealth creation and poverty eradication. Our primary target is MSEs; but at a secondary level we also work with organisations having strong backward linkages to MSEs.
Organisation and Focus
KGT works both at community and policy levels, building on existing institutions as a way of localising and recognising local capacities and capabilities. This way, we develop and apply participatory methodologies to enable target groups access appropriate markets and technologies to improve their livelihoods and facilitate their involvement in development initiatives.
KGT’s involvement is driven by relevance of interventions to KGT’s main service areas and contribution towards poverty eradication. We intervene at strategic and critical points along the value chain, demonstrating results, sharing knowledge and generally being change agents.
